FAQs

  • I take Premera & Lifewise.
Other than that, paying out-of-pocket is a great option for people who want maximum privacy, confidentiality, and flexibility.

Insurance limits how often we can see each other.
I accept payment via debit or credit card at beginning each session.

  • I can provide a monthly receipt that you may use to obtain out-of-network coverage directly from your insurance company if requested.

  • If you have out-of-network benefits, they typically will reimburse you for 60-80% of the cost of each session.
Your out-of-network benefits are usually pretty straightforward to use. Most insurance companies have you upload your monthly superbill online (it’ll be sent to you on the 1st of each month), and then they will mail you a check with your reimbursement. It’s always a good idea to call the number on the back of your health insurance card listed under Member Services.

Cancellation Policy:

Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment anytime, as long as they provide 24 hours notice. For late cancellations and no-shows, the full session fee will be charged.

In case of unexpected and emergencies, I allow one cancellation with less than 24 hours notice without charge once every 6 months.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
